Juan Carlos Reyes Portilla (Cartago, 1962). Pintor y dibujante. Fundador de los grupos Fobia y Amalgama y Cofundador del proyecto Muestra de Arte Libre Hernán Hidalgo (Colegio Universitario de Cartago). Fué Vicepresidente de la Asociación de Autores de Obras Literarias y Científicas de Costa Rica. Primer lugar en el Concurso de Jóvenes Pintores y Dibujantes (Colegio de Ingenieros y Arquitectos, 1986). Ganador del V Certamen de Dibujo de la Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (Centro Costarricense de la Ciencia y la Cultura, 1995). Primer lugar en la XII Muestra de Arte Libre Hernán Hidalgo (2011). Country of Residence: Costa Rica
