I LOVE TO CREATE... I was born in California I am 46. I grew up in a broken home with alcoholic parents who fought and I was abused and neglected..I submerged my self into drawing,to excape from reality.l would draw and give my art away or rip it up and throw it out... I started saving my works 2 years ago when my son brently passed away, I sign my work brently cause I want to honor his memory throughmy art... I never took an art class.. In order to have your own style you have to teach your self.. In my opinion learning from someone else would hinder a unique style. To me art equals freedom, a place with no rules.. My art comes from a place of deep emotions.it is also a subconscious place where I don't have to think.. We are all born to create.. We are all born artist, some of us stay artist, AND SOME OF US ONLY STAY...SINCERLEY, Cynthia.
